The Hartwell is the most versatile model of the Vintage Porch Swings bed swing designs – in fact 3 of the McHenry’s daughters sleep on a Hartwell every night. It is a popular interior bed swing selection.
The Hartwell bed swing is available in “sleigh” style, 3 sided with backboard. The majestic finials at all 4 corners add a “castle like” detail that sets the Hartwell apart from all of the other hanging bed models.
The Hartwell is by far and away the favorite hanging bed chosen for interior use of Vintage Porch Swings customers.
The Hartwell is constructed from handpicked Kiln Dried Pressure Treated Southern Yellow Pine or can be upgraded to use Cypress wood. This swing is mounted with 1” thick natural manila rope.
