While I rarely write reviews, I felt that this product deserves one. I purchased the aluminum model, with 16 inch legs, and tower. Because of the Corvid 19 situation, I expected delays in shipment from Spain. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived early, in 3 very large box crates. My husband needed help carrying the pieces to our second floor bedroom, as the weight per box, especially the box holding the reformer itself, was heavier than the specs indicate. He was OK with that, but was frustrated with the lack of ANY instructions on how to assemble it! While there is a You Tube video on the wood reformer assembly, there is nothing on the aluminum version, and even the wood YouTube video did not show the tower piece at all. I called Admired Home to get help, but they said they had no better instructions then the YouTube video, which did not apply to my model. Not great support.
We managed to piece it together by looking at the pictures of the assembled aluminum reformer and tower on Admired Homes' website, but still do not know what one of the pulley's on the tower are for. Elina should print instructions in English (or even Spanish--we could have found a translator), but to send a dissembled piece of equipment with absolutely no instructions or video is just crazy! Those are my only negative comments.
Let me say that the quality and craftsmanship of the reformer/tower far exceeded my expectations. It is not an inexpensive purchase, and I was worried that it would be flimsy. To the contrary, it is very high quality, works smoothly and I expect it to hold up very well. The materials and apparatus are sturdy and well made. It really is a beautiful piece of equipment and, now that it is up and running, I absolutely LOVE it. It is a far superior reformer than any I've used in gyms. The one thing I would have done differently is ordered a size shorter legs. I'm only 5'2", and I find it hard to do some exercises that require one foot on the floor and the other on the reformer. I likely will get a 3" high no skid box made for a footstool to resolve this problem. If you are taller than 5'5", I don't think this would be a problem.
This was a great purchase, well worth the cost, but if you get it, be prepared for the uninstructed assembly, especially of the tower.
